Got a long list of rides and feeling a bit lost? Don’t worry — our filter and sorting features make it easy to organize your rides just the way you like.
Here’s how it works:
- Open the "Rides" tab.
- Select the category of rides you want to filter.
- By default, your rides are sorted by month, with the newest at the top.
- Tap or click on the button with the two arrows (↑ ↓) above your rides.
- Now you can sort your rides by name, date, distance, and duration.
- Don't forget to hit "Apply" to save your settings, and your ride list will refresh.
Tip: By tapping the sorting options (e.g. from A to Z), you have the option to reverse the order. 💡
Tip:
Right now, we don’t offer advanced sorting, filtering, search, or tagging features. But a little smart naming goes a long way! Here are some rider-approved tricks:
- Start with the date: Use the YYYY-MM-DD format at the beginning of your ride name (e.g. 2025-06-15 Black Forest ride). This keeps rides neatly ordered by date.
- Add a country code: If you ride internationally, tag your rides with country codes like DE, FR, IT (DE Alpine Route, FR Coastal Road).
- Use brackets for quick tags: Categorize rides with tags like [Vacation], [WE] (Weekend), [Off-road] or [Favorite] ([Vacation] Dolomites 2024).
- Numbering: Keep sequential rides in order by adding numbers (01 Alpine Pass, 02 Coastal Road).
With these simple tricks, you’ll have a well-organized ride list and get the most out of alphabetical sorting!
Comments
This sorting type does not get "stored" or remembered. Have to change it almost every time which is rubbish
Hey @Martin McDowell - Sorry for the (very) delayed response. We're taking advantage of the cooler weather to get the Help Center back into shape and will be answering regularly from now on.
The issue about the setting not being stored is known. A fix is on its way and should be released next week.
