Want to try out new calimoto features before anyone else and give us your feedback? Then you can easily join the Beta Program in the Google Play Store (Android only). As a beta tester, you’ll get early access to new versions of the app before they’re released to all users.
How to join:
- Open the calimoto app in the Google Play Store.
- Scroll down until you see the section "Join the beta".
- Tap "Join".
After a short time, you’ll be enrolled in the beta program and will automatically receive beta updates for the app.
In the Play Store, you’ll also see the notice "You’re a beta tester".
💡 Good to know:
Beta versions include new features and changes that are still in development. Because of this, occasional bugs or other issues may still occur.
If you notice anything unusual, feel free to contact our support team and include the current app version in your ticket or mention that you are part of the beta program. This helps us identify and resolve the issue more quickly.
You can, of course, leave the beta program again at any time.
Here's how to leave the beta program:
- Open the calimoto app page in the Google Play Store.
- Scroll down to the “You’re a beta tester” section.
- Tap "Leave" and confirm.
You will then be removed from the beta program. After that, you will only receive the regular app updates, meaning the versions that are released for all users.
⚠️ Please note:
If you leave the beta program, you’ll need to uninstall the app and then reinstall the public version from the Play Store to switch back to the regular version. You’ll automatically be logged out of your account, and any downloaded offline maps will be deleted.
For iOS, there is unfortunately no beta program like the one available for Android in the Google Play Store. This means iOS users cannot sign up for a beta version of the app.
